You can disable it but its already monitoring to make sure your system is running optimally. Or at least that's what they say. They could be blowing smoke but it seems to work when I double check its decisions.
Maybe try forgetting the network on the phone. Open the network connections on the phone. I think it's settings-->wireless and networks-->WiFi on android. Might vary a bit between phone models. Then tap and hold the network you want to forget. You should get a popup to forget it.
