Was so psyched to get home and play, now i have spent nearly an hour tinkering with files, and getting nowhere. BS. exactly my situation. #5.open the Fallout4Prefs.ini. You should see something like this. for fullscreen make sure that: bBorderless=1 bFull Screen=1. for resolution change for 21:9 resolutions (3440x1440, 2560x1080 etc) change: iSize H= (your resolution height e.g 1440,1080) iSize W= (your resolution width e.g 3440,2560) then save the file.

21:9 ultra wide. I didn't see any posts relating to this so I thought I'd add one. There's no footage up on youtube of anyone playing this at an ultra-wide resolution, which often means that it is either difficult or impossible to get up and running. That is not the case with Fallout 3. There are 2 x .ini files in your /My Games/Fallout 3 ...So it looks like Comprehensive Ultrawide - 2560x1080 and 3440x1440 v1.2 was the way to go with the Comprehensive Ultrawide and Horizon Patch. So, I have recently bought and started using a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor, and I realized Fallout 4 doesn't really cover it. I tried installing Truby9's Widescreen, but I don't believe it worked, probably because I did something wrong. I really wanna play Fallout 4 with this thing, but it's getting really frustrating trying to do so.
