I'm hopeful that when lucent nargacuga comes - things will truly change! Hopefully we do get a power creep but for now - this I'm going with this lightbowgun... In term of elemental damage: Single elemental piercing > RF elemental piercing > RF normal (or non-piercing) elemental > Single elemental ammos. Rathian LBG is marginally better than Rathalos LBG for single fire piercing, but the Rathalos gun also has RF (normal) fire as backup ammo, also more slots.
