Verna Mae Langley was born April 14,1936, in Pitt County, NC. She was the daughter of the late William Tatum Sr. and Mary Tatum. She passed away peacefully at home with her loved ones on July 6, 2023. Verna Mae was educated in the Pitt County School system. She married the love of her life, David L. Langley on October 18, 1953. Brian is predeceased by his wife Darlene Gruber. There will be a celebration of his life on June 17th, 2023, 11:00 am, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory in Suffolk, Va.
