Acura mdx push button start problems
Hi, I bought a 2018 MDX in November. It is going well except that sometimes the remote doesnt work and the car doesnt start (and I need to wait few hours until it starts working again). The remote is in the car but it says no remote detected (it does NOT say the battery low or something like this). This has happened only 2-3 times since November.Makes it easy to finish listening to something on the radio or finish a hands free phone call. According to my MDX manual, foot on brake, shift to neutral, release neutral, press and hold neutral for 2 seconds, press power button and accessory will stay on for 15 minutes. Thanks! Step on the brake pedal when you press the start button. If it doesn’t start, step on it a little harder. From your owners manual, these steps need to be done in order. If you push the start button before stepping on the brake, it won’t start. Looks like the parking brake has to be on.
