The Airbnb was less than a mile from Douglass Park, and any hotel/moderately priced Airbnb we get is gonna be at least 3 miles out. Decent hotels are running between $150-$350 per night for that weekend, so we’re gonna shoot for one of those. Book ASAP.

By that logic you'd probably actually be better not buying a ticket now, and just becoming a buyer if you CAN in fact go.. Just a suggestion. That band is hardly the first one to do that. If there is fall out, shame on riot fest. Ive been to at least 3 different shows where the band has done that, and yeah the crowd took over the stage with the band. No one ever got hurt or caused problems. Imagine holding a punk festival and getting pissed when the band goes against the rules. RiotFest 2024 will be September 20-22, with presale tomorrow. My last time at Riot Fest was 2019 GA. Went all three days and was DEEP in the crowd for Bikini Kill on Sunday. It differs because of the music (I was able to dance and put my way through, don’t think that’s realistic for a band like The Cure IMO) so camp out if you’d like. I would recommend getting there about 3-4 sets earlier.So summer fest just released their line up. Their are a decent amount of riot fest bands playing their the same weekend as riot fest. PIXIES, dirty heads.... I think we will see lots of cross over between the two. Based off that I think we could get 311, Styx, zztop, or possibly Miley Cyrus even.
