Dyson cordless vacuum not spinning.

Tried three different heads that came with the unit and none are spinning. one of these heads has only been used three times- so it points to an issue elsewhere (not a dirty bunged up head). suction seems good- just the heads are not spinning. Follow these simple steps: a. Verify that the vacuum is securely plugged into a functioning power outlet. b. Check the power switch on the vacuum body and ensure it is turned on. c. Hi Folks. I have a Dyson Animal Small Ball. The head does not spin. I press the relevant button and there is the slightest amount of movement and the accompanying noise (very briefly) but the brush bar does not spin.
