Hey, anniversaryss - I'm in the middle of swapping my 97 to 24x. Swapped cam (mild), 1.6 rockers, otherwise stock engine. 0411 computer.TorqHead has chosen to utilize a true-to-form 24x reluctor that has a "dual track" like GM intended for 24x. Dual track means that there are actually two seperate discs read by the crank sensor that are 180 deg. opposed.The one log i looked at the one cylinder had over 5 thousand history misfires i would start there. Its very odd. The main changes in the tune are correct. Typically you have to swap the coil AND injector wires so that is confusing as well. 1997 30th SS.
