It doesn't specifically have to be ...The agricraft sprinklers will do the same job as a source block (hydrating soil in a 3x3 centered on the sprinkler head) and speed up crop growth... and the effect stacks. Too many, however, will have a noticeable impact on your FPS. Disabling the particles in the agricraft config file will help if the pack maker didn't already disable them.
