If this does not happen you have to adjust your cables. Another problem can be that the roller of the carb hits the cam to soon. This also increases the idle rpm.
The carbs does not have an 'idle stop' adjustment. The important is to get the carbs starting to open at the timing specified when the arrow on #47 lines up with the roller on the carb (pick up timing).
