No Bus is the main PCM (computer) not being able to communicate to the system. 1) Check connections to the PCM throughly AFTER disconnecting the battery. 2) Clean connections to the PCM and reconnect throughly. 3) Reset PCM. 4) Reattach battery.Turns over fine, but it will not start. Yes, it is a 1.4 Turbo and a DDCT Transmission. You should have close to 0 volts on one side of the control circuit (pin 86) with the key in start position. The relay coil is supposed to drop the 12 volts when the control circuit is grounded.

Last night, while 5 hours from home, my truck failed to start. The gauges all lit up, but the engine would not crank. Nothing else seemed out of the ordinary. I tried 5-6 times, and then took the key out for about a minute while contemplating what I was going to do. 2.4L No Compression Issue. 2.4L was running a bit rough for a couple of days and then after driving it for 30 minutes and the car sitting for an hour, it wouldn't start anymore. Seems to turn over but sounds different than usual, a kind of "whirring" sound. No compression in the engine upon checking and the timing belt is fine apparently.Hemi 5.7L.
