Because there's no way to emulate switch games at a reasonable framerate with the system he has. I just went through testing botw with yuzu and cemu and cemu is so much better at least specifically for botw. With cemu (and some mods enabled) I was getting over double the fps with better graphics and less stuttering than with yuzu.

Hey I just wanted to update you on this. I turned off AF in the control panel for CEMU and sure enough even with the low res shadows, the black lines disappear. You have found the true culprit. So now the question is, how had does it hurt leaving AF on vs off. I play at 4k and the drivers automatically sample the textures better even without AF.

I … And neither one is truly better than the other. OpenGL with a complete shader cache will not stutter. Updating cemu or your gpu drivers will not reintroduce stutter. However without a shader cache it will stutter everytime a new shader is encountered. This stutter is longer than it is for vulkan. Additionally you can use async shader compiler ... You can probably right-click the game in Yuzu's game list. Then there'll likely be an option that says Open Save Directory (I can only guess, I don't use Yuzu). Then you find the option.sav file that the save manager asks for.
