Personally I do Jack Westin every single day (its free). I would honestly do both because UWorld is also representative of the exam (or so Ive heard). My friends who already took the MCAT used both and did well on the CAR section. Honestly, the more practice the better!! I have the AAMC Car 1 and 2 question pack and CAR 1 pack is fucking harder ... HARDER Definitely harder than both UW and NBME!!! Be prepared for a harder test. THe questions have a lot more information than the two Self assesments, take longer to read. On you NBME SA you have to get a higher percent of correct answers than the UW to get the same score. My personal observation.

i think UWorld is PHENOMENAL. imo, the most important part of MCAT prep is the practice, not the content review. question-based studying is the way to go. i used uworld in combo with nextstep full length exams (and obviously the AAMC ones too) and got 511 first try. now, considering it was my first time there was the "nervous factor" so i actually could have done even better since i ran out of ...Questions are easier than uworld In the actual exam. The difficulty (level of reasoning required) was about the same as UWorld as well. No crazy questions like AMBOSS 5 hammer. However, the exam is made of questions you've never seen before. Be prepared for some wtf, just like in any other UWorld block, because it'll find holes in your knowledge exactly the same way. It's inevitable. I wouldn't try doing a FL, since they're supposedly a little harder than the SB. I usually do 25 questions at a time. I just got done with Bio Qpack 2, after having done about 100 Bio UWorld passages, and my score jumped from a 70% to 85%. Lots of the questions on there I felt like I've seen on UWorld - but in an easier format. Highly recommend. ….

Also the aamc asks questions a little different than NS but NS was still a great 3rd party test resource.
