The only thing I really notice is that the Phase 4 is legitimately a little quieter with just a touch less hand vib at the shot. The Mathews was shooting at 307 fps vs 296 from the Hoyt (!). I was so impressed by the draw cycle vs. speed from the Mathews. I shot the new Hoyt VTM 31, Hoyt RX7, and the Bowtech Carbon One before trying the Phase4 29. I now have the Phase4 29 in subalpine and quite enjoy it.
