I'm about to head off for Varnhold, and wanted to know which companions have the most story relevance/interaction during this chapter. Much like how Harrim, Jubilost, and Ekundaiyo had their story reasons to go with you to the Troll Fortress during Chapter 2, are there any party members with similar events going on in Chapter 4?

Nov 23, 2019 · (2) the fact only unfair-viable melee companion is Valerie and you do need more than one melee. Every companion save Jubilost is melee viable, and most benefit from being there for positioning/flanking purposes. (3) all dex builds are out of the window. Dex melee is inferior to STR melee due to Enlarging effects boosting strength. Oh yea i played BG2. Do this date im yet to find a game even half as good. Divinity 2 probably second best thing but i wasnt fan of new combat changes. Made battles too long imo The story in Pathfinder is more humble but better written than DOS2. Custom companions or not? I find custom companions nice for the reason that I get the full extent of changing their class and character + picture. A downside is that the party is quite, me choosing everything without a complaint or opinions. Arcane casters get Grease and Stinking Cloud which are fun. Druids make nature spring to life to root enemies in place, and eventually they strangle your foes, poison them, impale them with giant spike stones, etc. You also get some pretty nice AOE damage spells.
