Reddit step 2 old free 120. I took the new free 120 and got a 58% 10 days ago, and I took the old free 120 offline today and got 72.5%. Wanted to see if other people had similar experiences. Every time they have ever retired old practice materials and released new ones, the new stuff has been markedly more difficult. Unfortunately this accurately reflects the exam.
Reasonable-Score-21. •. I didn’t take this new one but I think it’s more difficult because the current actual step 2 (in my opinion) is different then previous ones. I took it yesterday and it really was a different test than the NBMEs and the (old) new free 120. Different concepts tested and just felt alot harder.
It's the new 120. My test is on the 22nd, and I am planning on doing it tomorrow. According to the 2019 survey, the free 120 had the worst correlation score-wise, but by word of mouth, the question style is most similar to the real test.
