Mar 10, 2018 · Idle problem in Drive. My 2013 Escape 2.0 with 135K miles has just developed a rough idle to the point of wanting to stall in drive. If I shift to neutral it idles fine. It otherwise runs fine. It's when I come to a stop in drive, it's as though the transmission is still trying to move the car forward. Transmission was flushed about 30k miles ago. The Horn Power is via "Hot at all times" 20amp F20 to relay socket pin 3. 3. If you do NOT get +12V tested between relay socket pin 3 and known good ground, check/replace F20. 4. Once you know you have +12V on relay socket pin 3, a jumper between relay socket pin 3 and relay socket pin 5 should sound the horn.
