If we assume that a server is safe to play (not going to die) from 4000 players, the English have 6 big servers, for a total of about 56200 players. The Germans have 3 servers, for a total of about 20,200 players. This also adds to competing for gear every week since the team normally gears up together in a guild. Classic has some issues and definitely skyfury.
