Now before you start flaming me about buying the service manual I have one for a 06 Touring bike and I know where all the drains and such are. Just don't want to spend the $65 for the 2012 book right now.Didn't sound right so I put a 5/8" plank under the rear wheel and pulled the plug. I got another 1/2 quart out of the sump. So I figure 4 1/2 quarts plus an oil filter should pretty much do it. The manual says 5 quarts so I always measure the amount I drain before refilling. This ensures I do not overfill the oil.F.
