6 posts · Joined 2007. #22 · Feb 21, 2008. Had the same problem, when temps went below about 20, the door would be hard to open and then it would not relatch. Dealer finally found a fix after 3 trips. They tried lubricating, replacing actuator motor and finally replaced the latch assembly. The final one fixed it.ECM problems. I have a 2008 CTS with a six speed manual and a 3.6 liter DI motor. Problem started with a constant misfire on cylinder number three. The code was p2306, well after checking the resistance with the coil wire that receives signal from the ECM it was determined that the ECU had an internal fault.
