Press and hold the button for roughly 3 seconds to begin the reset operation, which will discharge hot air and complete the reset. Or, locate the blower motor fuse from the fuse box under the hood.
If you got a Sirius receiver, take that out too. Tape off a 4"x6" section on the vent running up to the defrost. Directly under that vent is the Mode Doors. The plastic is soft and thin, like trash can plastic. I used a sharp box knife blade to cut it. This is the foam that was stuck on the left mode door.The mode door actuator is an electric motor. It is a pain to do, but you do not have to remove the dash. You will be going in blind or if you have a borescope it makes the task far easier.
